Why is Dyche not playing Gray and Simms?? Maupay cannot play up top on his own and Gray is way better than McNeil. We only just held on last week against a poor Leeds.

It's all about work ethic at the moment mate.

Gray simply doesn't work as hard.

I don’t think it’s as simple as that. You’d assume a competent manager was working on tactics in training and Simms was looking good so he threw him in. It didn’t seem to work out tactically or for Simms so he’s now getting minutes as a sub to show he can have an impact.

No surprise to see an unchanged side, only small surprise is thought Garner might make the bench.

Why having 4 cbs on the bench is a very strange decision from dyche....Garner should have been in there for one of those

Watkins has scored in each of his last 4 PL games so we will have to keep him quiet somehow. If we do we should get at least a draw or maybe sneak it from a set piece. 1-0 would do again this week very nicely.

Don’t feel great about today at all. Our margin for error is just so, so small because of how unlikely we are to score more than 1 in a game.

It’s over 4 months now since we scored more than one in a league game.

Pretty sure Leeds didn't have a shot on target last week.

Very limited options from the bench in terms of attacking, just Simms and Gray. Would have preferred to see Simms start but he will likely come on for 20 min. toward the end I suppose.

I think we have to be out the blocks and get stuck into them quite quickly today. We need to try and get an early goal and not let them get comfortable.

If Maupay can drag a defender or two around and play with a bit of snide then we will score a couple. These aren't that good, they had a new manager bounce (I think player had downed tools for gerrard) but still don't look that good as a team. Just win anything I write is just rubbish just get 3 points so we can get on with the weekend please Blues. I want a beer as well but won't crack one open until we go 1 up. Or 1 down.
