….thought we played better than against Leeds but the lack of an effective central striker cost us. It’s no surprise, we’ve all been banging on about it for 18 months (except @4737carlin who defended Thelwell for not bringing in a forward last month).

When you have no scoring capability you lose more games than you win. If a team score against us it’s very unlikely we’ll score 2 without a fit and firing DCL.

I don’t believe Iwobi is in the same mind set as the rest. I’ve always questioned his application & I suspect Dyche isn’t convinced. Maupay is just awful, Dyche will be a miracle worker to get us out of this if DCL isn’t available for the remainder of the season.

Thelwell is highly culpable for our situation. His contract should be terminated with immediate effect. He talks like a politician but he doesn’t know football.

Not one to comment about stuff in match on here. But Anthony Taylor has been awful today. Like genuinely terrible. Inconsistent, biased, the works.

Gueye got the ball for the pen. The yellow on doucoure. I really don't want to be that sort of tin foil hat type but it reeked today of make it as hard as possible for everton to win. Keep that relegation battle as wide open as possible.

Dyche 1.5 points per game. Not too shabby

After Arsenal in midweek it will be 1.2, afetr Forest it will be 1.0 and the decline will continue with the next 4 after that. Villa at home is our most winnable game in the next 7 games.

Lots of games left I know but the chances we missed today were absolutely scandalous, if we cant put them chances away I fear for us for the rest of the season. That is ultimately what has caused our impending relegation this season.

I think we'll just end up running out of games mate where there's not enough winnable ones because there's nothing up front.

It's dire, we are literally relying on scoring from a set piece to win games. Nothing else. That's it.
