BK: What's the plan to beat Arsenal today Ronald?
RK: We're going to match them up like for like, play the same system as them and see what happens.
BK: What even though they play that system every week and have better players than us?
RK: Yes
BK: And has that idea worked for us before?
RK No not really but ok, that's football.

Indeed, same stupidity as we tried against Chelsea last season....utter madness.

We were outclassed from the kick-off. Arsenal got it together, we did not.
Gana not being subbed was a major mistake. Williams continued to be a liability, at least he was subbed.
The team as a whole looked clueless again. There was no cohesion, no plan, no organization, no creativity. Too many headless chickens. No driver.
All of these sort of things should be addressed by the manager/head coach or whatever title he goes by. At this point, it is not the board, or the players so much. It is the manager's job, the buck stops with him. It is not working, time for a reset!

Just finished watching a replay. What a god-awful embarrassment that was. MOTM goes to any of our fans at Goodison who stuck around long enough to see Niasse's goal.

Agree. What amazes me is that on the pitch today we had Sigurdsson, Rooney, Williams, Jagielka, and Baines. All either captains, or senior players for their club or country. Yet none of our players seem to take ownership. What on earth is discussed at team meetings? Who motivates our players, or gives them a kick up the backside?

Williams yellow card was a joke, the Arsenal player ran into him, was he supposed to disappear like a pantomime Genie? So straight away that puts us at a major disadvantage. Kocielny (Sp?) got away with a deliberate block with no card. In fact Arsenal got away with murder without cards.

I doubt Whinger would see it the same though.
