Got 3 good impact subs to come on if needed. Big performance from McCarthy, Barry and Naismith (I'm assuming he will be playing mostly behind lukaku) needed to their midfield get no time on the ball and when we have it we use it as well as we can.

It was this, this moment we wrapped up fourth. Have no illusions it could be this good again.

My issue is Naismaith and Osman seems to be better impacts subs then Barkley who always struggled when coming on as a sub.

@tim_cahill: What a massive game for everyone involved with my club @officialeverton takes me back to my first season 04/05 when we finished 4th. With the fans and the way we are playing this season , makes me so proud to watch and I hope we can achieve what the club deserves. Always watching from afar and supporting my team. Hope all the kids in Australia from @TC4academy will be watching the blues

I'm welling up.

not sure why osman is on the wing when we have delafeou and mcgeady bang in form.

but we've seen an impact our subs can make near the end of the game. maybe bobby looks at them as better sub alternatives to osman?? faster pace against a tiring defence as opposed to a older head who the defence will be more relieved about seeing coming on.

that's the only reason i can think anyway.

risky though, COYB's

He's played Osman to retain the ball in the final third, and manipulate gaps - same as what he done against Newcastle. If he played with two direct wingers then we are set up be exploited down the wings a bit easier. Combined with Naismith being behind Lukaku we will be busier with and without the ball up that end of the pitch.

Will it work? Knowing Osman in big games probably not.
