Would you not he happy with a draw?

I think me and many other Evertonians would be more confident in a game like this than away to newly promoted the Fox's. I know alot of toffees said we will smash you's etc but deep down we all knew it would be tricky close game result wise,.we also know a home game against to big boys is normally a good result. Last seasone beat Chelsea, Arsenal, United and a drew with Liverpool we should have won that but we got carried away with what was a great match. I think it's down to the fans, if the fans treated everygame as they do against the big teams we would be champions league on that merit alone.

Good stuff Chico, nice words, even better pictures although could have done without Rush's mug, the two across the park have to be up there in the favourites list barring Everton ones of course.

Couldn't agree more on Wilshere, barring rs players hard to think of a player I dislike more atm. Not so sure on Mertesacker though, reckon Koscielny digs him out of a hole quite a bit.

Cant wait for this, COYB, get the smiles back on our faces after last week, allow us to look forward to the Europa draw instead of being all "meh" about it.

For me this game comes down to two things. Whether Lukaku turns up and Jagielka/Distin eliminating the poor mistakes and just being solid.

Mirallas to be man of the match and nick the winner in a 1-0.

Howard
Coleman Jagielka Distin Baines
Mccarthy Barry
Mirallas Naismith Pienaar
Lukaku
Bench: Robles, Stones, Besic, Gibson, Osman, McGeady, Atsu

Unused: Hibbert, Alcaraz

Injured/not fit: Oviedo, Barkley, Kone

i don't envy martinez having to make the decision on the 3 to play behind lukaku.

take your pick. mirallas will surely play, mcgeady and naismith both scored and pienaar was arguably our best player.

think he'll go mirallas, naismith, pienaar which although won't strike hear to arsenal and may seem to us the least exciting, imaging bringing on the pace of atsu and mcgeady on for naismith and pienaar for the last 20 mins. personally i'd love to see us go mirallas, mcgeady, atsu and try and smash them on every single counter attack - COYB's.

Thank god its at home. First blood the blues going for..... 0 - 0 1st 45 us 2nd half 2 - 1 full result wont do 1st goal scorer...
