Given how poor we were second half against Leicester, I'm worried about this one. Arsenal are a more accomplished team (no offence to the Foxes fans still browsing) than last week's opponents and Ramsey in particular is a fantastic player.

It's a lot to hope that Coleman is ready to start, let alone play a full 90 minutes, and that Mirallas and Lukaku have improved their fitness significantly in a week. Whilst a win is not beyond us I think there's some overconfidence on here. We need to get in front early and force them to hurry their game, and irrespective of the score Besic needs to scythe that bulb Wilshere down in the 88th minute.

I reckon

  • Coleman to start, but will get subbed off and Stones takes his place
  • Naismith to start over Lukaku, and Osman takes Naismith's place. Lukaku will replace Osman after 60 mins.
  • Barry and McCarthy to start, Besic introduced later.
  • I don't know what I'm talking about.
  • Mirallas will start and score.

Struggling to see past a heavy defeat on this one, against Leicester we looked like we were on our second game of pre season, our best creative player is injured, last years star of the game (Coleman) is coming back from injury, everyone is a second behind the pace, Lukaku is running slower than Kone and Arsenal are quality and up to speed.
I write this hoping sods law will kick in and we will dominate and win the game but I just can't see it.

Good read, especially liked the pictures this week, which is just as well as they make up 95% of the preview. Love the faces of sheer joy in the Mirallas photo. I went for 2-2 last week, and am doing the same result for this one, followed by a win against Chelski. 5 points from the opening three games would be a solid start.

That was one of the dullest things I've ever started to read on the interwebz.

The dog pic and the Michael Thomas pic were good though.

1-1
