Two games in and still not fit enough for 90? I've never heard anything like it, seriously, that is shocking!!

It isn't at all! Half of Arsenal's team were goosed yesterday but they have a very big squad, full of quality. Yes it's annoying but the fact is Martinez wants the players to be going into September fully fit - and we'll need them to be! Personally, i think we could've done with one more game in pre-season when our full 1st 11 got 45 minutes together, but that didn't happen and injuries to key players haven't helped. We'll be fine. The only way to get match fit is by playing. I'm confident we'll last the 90 next week.

Bare in mind Arsenal have to play 5 games this month as well - they have to start the season full on. I think RM wanted to use Leicester to ease us back in, but really we needed 6 pre-season games.

This might be me trying to make myself feel better, but of the two teams performances, I'd be far more concerned by Arsenals than Evertons tbh. We ran out of steam and retreated, that needs to be addressed. But they didn't look remotely convincing for long periods of that game until they were invited on to us.

No, its very much the truth. Any rational thinker who watched the game would say the same thing.

Shame to drop two points but we're are coming together nicely as a team. Lukaku coming in from the right was a handful at times, I expect him to get better and better.

Plus he played with an injection; he did look kanckered but he sprung into life when we needed him. The lad needs to be kept on ice this week while we get the others doing some running!

The last 20 mins reminded me of the Moyes days, what happened to passing the ball around to kill time.
thought exactly this. we didnt look composed at all in the last 20, compare that to the arsenal and united home games last year where we were very good at seeing the games out

I think the positive from this is that we are looking like a team that can brush teams like arsenal aside with very little effort, which bodes very well for the future.

Pre-season was a bit of a balls-up, but Martinez always learns from his mistakes (arguably his greatest trait as a manager) and I don't expect a repeat of it next year.

A disappointing end to what should have been three great points.
The slackness at the Arsenal first was shocking and that has to be sorted out pronto.
Come on Roberto! work your magic.
