I reiterate, Naismith is a nothing player.

Are you basing Ozil's worth off his first game of the season where he clearly isn't match fit yet?

1. In that we paid nothing for him, yes.

2. No, Ozil was pretty average a lot last season as well. Started well, to be fair, but £40m?

I like you mate but you've had far too many to come out with this bollocks. Now that I've gone and calmed down, looking at the game we didn't give them a sniff for 70minutes and then clearly tired. Probably needed Besic to come on for Osman instead of Atsu for Mirallas. To put it simply we should have won here, we were the better team than "title contenders" and because of that I'm happy. Absolute sicker in the way we bottled it, but we played some wonderful stuff and will ruin some teams. 4 points dropped.

Does it not remotely scare you that two Everton goals are no longer sufficient to win matches? Why do we need four or five these days
to stop the heart going at about 300 bpm and stop shyt seeping into our Calvin Kleins?

And what the hell happened to "Sin Miedo" - was that just a marketing tool or something? Why has Sin Miedo become Sit-back-miedo

You're coming out with the same recycled nonsense which is spouted constantly in relation to Ozil, he performed fine for us last season when he had outlets around him such as Ramsey and Walcott. Notice how his drop in form coincided with injuries to both of those players and the time period where a winter break is often in place in Spain?

Wilshere just has to find his role within the team and he'll be fine because as of now his quality will not shine if he is constantly shoehorned into positions in need.

so he's not a centre mid then? his role should be on the bench, you guys have much better options in midfield

I was saying much the same in the aftermath of the Leicester game.

Yep, 4 points dropped thanks to no other reason than a lack of fitness is infuriating. The season is a long hard slog with twists and turns along the way but you simply cannot throw away points in such a manner. A basic fitness level of 90 minutes should be the bare minimum of any professional footballer. Their 2 goals were dog and duck quality.

Baines in box? Cut it back for an open goal but defender got in front of player. Would have had a pen if Baines had gone down

Thread through ball to Coleman that was just cut out

Was it the second half when Osman had a shot and it looked like a hand ball

I did, And regarding the fitness I was very very wrong as its evident to anyone watching us its cost us in the last two games

The reason I jumped over the pre season thing was the people including you that said the performances would carry into the PL gmaes, Well that has not been the case by a long shot

They sort of have. The reason the team looked so poor in pre-season was because they weren't fit. The reason we've drawn two games is because they aren't able to play at full match pace for 90 mins.

No one thought that somehow they magically became awful players in 2 months.

Plus Osman looked awful today just like he did in pre-season and Jags and Distin look shaky too again just like pre-season.

To anyone who watched pre-season the first two games haven't been a surprise. If anything things could have been worse.

Should have been more pragmatic second Half and bought on besic to shore things up.

I admire Martinez's desire to always attack but looking back he should have shored up the midfield

it was a hand ball. should have been pen. We played wonderful stuff at times, didn't give arsenal a sniff, pissed them off and made them look silly. Just a shame we bottled it at the end

we need 2 new center half's in that team on the bright side we are still unbeaten until next week when Chelsea tear us a new arsehole
Osman today looks like his legs are gone and the manager didn't have the balls to replace a sub
thought James Mc was superb today

Gutted at the end but I was very surprised how well we played tbh

That Arsenal side has some talent Ramsey/Sanchez/Giroud/Ozil/Carzola/Ox and we out played them for most of the game

I can feel people ready to jump all over Martinez, Its been coming for a while imo

This is true. Last season has heightened all our expectations and we all agree our fitness is costing us. We did dominate Arsenal IMO for 60 mins and we have to look at players at there disposal and take note that we more than matched them so that is my positive take, but I still cannot forgive why the fitness levels are not ready for the new season. I just hope the players are not being forced into cramming fitness in because that will have a negative effect.

Nope

We played like crap in pre season and I am talking performance, We didn't create chances, couldn't pass and looked all round turd, People on here assumed it would carry into the PL games, I disagreed and I think I have been proven right

The fitness side I was wrong
