we've only played two games, we still have about 50 left, he'll play. he's only 21 remember, not exactly bought only to play the first two games of the season.

True but he really could have calmed it all down a bit today had he come on as we were dropping back, just with his enthusiasm he provides, always wanting the ball etc that's on the basis He was fit enough to play 25 mins competitively

I know you are peed off mate, but Chelsea were better than us last season and we still beat them.

We will get fitter and start finishing sides, but at the minute a poor pre season has done us and RM needs to take responsibility for it

Right, just for once I'm going to be a melt - I know I'm going to get negged to kingdom come for this but I've had a few vodkas and (short of beating Chelsea of course) I am actually hoping Chelsea tear us a new one next after they score first just to hammer home the fact that Jags and Distin no longer work effectively.

A score-first-drop-deep-and-concede draw will be no good for us. I'd rather an absolute pasting than more of today.

On osman ... he cant tackle.. its like watching a school girl attempting to pick up a spider with her eyes shut. A player can start there run 10 yards behind him , catch him up jump his tackle and end up another 10 yards in front of him. Basically when we havn't got the ball hes s liability.

On the fitness thing and martinez saying we didnt have the legs ... well is that down to a poor fitness coach , a poor pre season or the fact we have a 32 2x 33 and a 37 year old starting while 2 decent younger fitter players in stones and besic sit on the bench ?

nothing always happens as you well know, but logic would suggest that fabregas oscar hazard oscar costa and willian will have some fun against our undercooked midfield and defence. like I say I may be wrong and I hope even more so, but we now have to wait for another 7 days for our next game (which is followed by a 2 week break) in the knowledge that our poor fitness has completely let us down

we were better than them in the reverse though and lost

True but this is a better chelsea side we were lucky last year aswell if barry doesnt make that recovery challenge then its 2 or 3 nil to them easily and like I say they are much better and much more powerfull now
