Apart from the striker position, it does. Vlasic, Sandro, Lookman, Lennon, and Mirallas are all very capable of taking up those positions. Koeman is unfortunate to not have a striker, but he brings misfortune upon himself by playing unbalanced lineups intentionally.

He would be more of an inside forward. He actually has a fantastic delivery on his crosses which would make him useful out wide. It also keeps him from running into the big lads in the middle.
