City need some very good recruitment up top and in Central defence if they want to stop big Red.

I dont think they are good enough right now.

I actually think they’ll be fine at the back so long as they stay healthy. Laporte going down last year showed how valuable he is to them. If Van Dijk goes down, big red would struggle mightily as well.

I seen something on here or on the paper talk on sky sports. The thing is hes 33 and is 3rd choice at utd since Dean Henderson thinks he can oust de gea this season

If he's 33 then that's no age at all for a goalkeeper. Still got comfortably 5 years left at his prime providing he's fit now.

Nigel Martyn was about 37 and he’s been the best keeper we had since Southall.

No i agree. Although I do wonder why he's been happy playing second fiddle for 5 years. No doubting he's a quality keeper but not playing properly for 5 years is utter madness even when de gea was making as many mistakes as pickford did last season

Romero is a weird player. His ratio of club to international games is about 2 to 1. For a 14 year career he has barely played at club level.
