In Martinez's interview with Sky he said this:

We always look to try to take advantage of the window, that's always our way of working and we've been doing some work beforehand identifying possible players that could help us, but as you could see today we are ready to have a strong second half of the season so I wouldn't expect we need anything in order to improve. If we could find anyone that could help us in what we want then we'll look into it but it's not a priority at the moment.

I think today showed us that Kone isn't good enough for that role on the left and that we are crying out for a top player to replace him.

I think Naismith is as good as gone and if we can bin Mcgeady to who ever will take him then we should bring in one player at least. If Mirallas goes then we definitely need new faces in. A left sided player and a Striker.

that sounds to me he will sign one or two, but doesn't want to get hopes up just in case yarmolenko happens again and we end up not getting out targets and thus dissapointed.

I would be astonished if we didn't sign an attacker if we sold naismith. Martinez views him as 3rd choice striker.

Mirallas is going nowhere

Should get >8 million for both Naismith and McGeady so hopefully a replacement striker/winger is bought

Back up for Coleman would be alright aswell

Mirallas isnt playing and wants to make the euros squad, hes currently dropped from the team.

i wonder if we may go for Grealish, could be another pet Martinez project.

shows his shortcoming that comment.

He should know who he wants and how much they cost. He should know who could leave and how much he has, and if any of his targets would be gettable.

Therefore just casually saying it's not a priority is not good enough, it kinda is when we aren't performing.
