There is no way Martinez would come out and make the comments on Mirallas,Naismith,McGeady and Gibson playing before the Euros if he wasnt intending to put them in the shop window.

He will also make signings to make us "stronger" as he has every window, whether thats the £20mil odd from those sales or money there from the yarmolenko deal i dont know..

Id be amazed if he didnt make a couple of big signings.
unless you count mcgeady and traore, Martinez doesn't do Jan windows.

Won't stop this thread though.

He also constantly bangs on about coming out each window stronger as a squad, so if Naismith and Mirallas did both move on he has to move in the windoiw or else will be shown to be a complete bullshitter

Think if Naismith goes then he may not get a real replacement in, though as I've said Didavi from Stuttgart would be my choice for a limited budget.

Yarmolenko would be incredible, but I can't see it, unless both Mirallas and Naismith leave, and even then I reckon it's unlikely.

Anymore on Timo Werner?

But he is already?
If mirallas and Naismith go we will bring in a Yarmolenko type player, not sure the real thing will be available.

He'll have to make some moves...he wont be able or wont want to keep those 4 players and wont just sell and not strengthen.

you mean like when we were having a good season and signed traore and mcgeady as the answers? or struggling last year and we signed aaron Lennon?

How about martinez trusts the players he has got and any additions he does make are simply to cover for the rest of the season rather looking to 'improve the first team' at an over priced deal.

so he does then lol

lol I wouldn't call a couple of loans and a cut price mcgeady as using the window.

in that case then yes he probably would sign someone I agree. He would have no choice but to do that. Considering mirallas has been leaving for the past two windows and we rejected a bid for naismith last time out, I wouldn't say it is nailed on we would lose either let alone both.

We have literally no need for Brady, he'd offer us nothing. Redmond is a decent player. Norwich won't be selling anyone this window, though.
