Are you surprised? Always happens. They say something live on air, people lash a load of money on it, then becomes favourite to sign.

IMO, Sky shouldn't be able to run a betting company.

As I said, Sky have him at 7/2 to sign for us, they either know something or are willing to lose a LOT of money on hopeful Evertonians.

I think the fact is they stand to make a lot more off hopeful West Ham fans. They were the ones who 'only on TV as well' said that WHam had come in. As far as I'm aware no other Leeds-based journals who have been keeping the story updated have said much.

This: if this championship player goes to West Ham, it is the equivalent of us handing over our 9 league titles, our FA cups, and our European Cup to West Ham and admitting they are and have been historically the superior team. From there, it would be only be a couple of months to allow up to wind up operations and turn out the lights forever on our cherished club. (Enough time for McCarthy to re-injure Payet like, silver linings and all that).
