Some people on GOT today need a noose.

We've known Stones was likely going since the start of the window and somehow it's now some kind of shock.

I don't think anyone is shocked at Stones leaving, just shocked at the general quality of the players we are looking to spend it on and the fact that we've barely spent a penny before this deal went through.

We definitely need another striking option, but I was also hoping for a keeper.

Was saying this morning, out of all the strong links to players we've had, not one has been a keeper, makes me wonder if Koeman see's Stelkenburg, and Robles as good enough.

It's a bit like when a woman slips you a digit. You know exactly that it's coming and how it feels, but yet it instantly causes a feeling of shock.

Everyone we've signed finished below us last season bar Stekelenburg who was a sub

Stek - better than Robles imo
Williams - better defender than Stones (at least atm)
Gueye - better than McCarthy, at pressing and tackling
Bolasie - 3 out of 4 ain't bad!

Joking about Bolasie, he is very direct, fast and really not sure what to make of it to be honest, here's hoping it's all good?

Agree 100%

Buying average players is all well and good.
But on the same day as we sell a potentially world class centre half.
Stinks of sell to buy why couldn't these deals have been done before if we are so minted and no FFP please thes 3 or 4 in wouldn't be getting paid 10 times the 4 first team players we released.

Need some real hard proof that we have some money because at the moment it doesn't look that way.

I would absolutely love to be proved wrong.
