Everton Transfer Thread 2016

The word is that Ron is getting very frustrated with the clubs ability to finalise a transfer. He didn't want Gueye, he wanted carvalho and the board pulled the plug due to "financial reasons." Unacceptable and not good enough.

I think that the strategy is not to sell unless we get an offer we can't refuse and that's 75m, I mean who do have as a replacement Kone ?

Ball is in Chelsea's court really its cough up or go home no matter what's printed in the Chelsea mouth piece the Evening Standard and if they leave it all to late (Like they did with Stones last season) all bids when they arrive will be rejected.

Chelsea never seem to learn when dealing withy us

I was talking about the buying rather than the selling and using Rom as a clever example of over inflation.... and before you all jump on me I am not saying we shouldn't ask that money just that it illustrates how over inflated the current market is.

I think it's quite obvious that clubs especially ones abroad will hold us ransom for huge transfer fees not only due to the market we are in (new prem tv money too) but they also know we have assets in rom and stones who could go for a combined 125m. Add this to our much publisised but not proven budget of 100m.. Any player we bid for, clubs will want a slice of the money we claim to have/may have if and when we sell rom and stones

Surely the club's inability is more appropriate. Unacceptable and not good enough indeed, TF
