He and Williams would be astute signings. He's 30. Just won the Euros. Great fit for us. What's not to like?

he's 32 which is the only problem. For a season or two that's ok.

With Williams and Fonte being linked perhaps we are expecting pennington, galloway, holgate to be ready in a year or two.

How is Fonte random? Makes perfect sense, all managers raid their ex-clubs and with the supposed loss of Stones means
there is a requirement for a CB.
