Yes he's well liked and we'll known by Walsh who looked at buying him last year. Can't say I recall him much last season but his statistics are impressive and this is classic Walsh territory.

All three AS WELL as Gueye? (if that comes off) Quite a chunky central midfield unless you've any more speculation on the futures of Barry & McCarthy?

Not worth stunting the progression of Besic, Tom Davies, Lesson and Walsh for a BANG AVERAGE midfielder

Can only assume the new DOF is behind this one as he wouldn't have had time to have a look at the younger ones
