He's our third string, potentially second string keeper if Joel goes which seems increasingly likely, and heads are falling off. He's experienced, fairly solid, and streets ahead of utter guff like Nash, Hahnemann, Wessells, Mucha, and Wright. Feel like I'm missing one of our dreadful backup keepers there but you get the point.

Can you explain whats so terrible about this signing of a backup keeper, and your reasoning on why you think we need to have spent big money already? Why not tomorrow, or next week?

Unless 1st choice is injured he won't play. Who do you want Koeman to sign as his number 2/3? Neuer? De Gea? Not many keepers will agree to join knowing they aren't going to be first choice.
