Apparently there are 3 Premiership teams fighting over the signature of Riquelme. West Ham, Blackburn, and one other. :lol:

No but really, when I was going thru my gambling stage, I watched a lot of Brazilian football, well mainly the South American CL.

He would just stand in the middle of the park spraying passes around and fouling people, still a very, very talented player, but and its not just his age, hes always been like that, lazy as fkcu, more so given that hes now about 82.

My flares and disco jump suit say it never went out of fashion.

Oh and surely we've got enough attacking centre mids in the team so the other club will be someone with lots of money to squander on has beens. Sunderland perhaps.

If he is a free transfer then I think we should offer him a 2 year deal with reasonable wages. I think he would be good back up for Arteta and can play in more advanced roles. Also his experience could help us and the younger players.
