Everton tickets

My girlfriend got me tickets for tomorrow off a website called sportsboxoffice.com for a vastly inflated price.
Now I've got the tickets today and they have somebody elses name on them. Is this normal?
I phones them and they said it's normal as they are brokers but I didn't really know what that meant. Can anyone clue me in?

They are acting as an agency from party A , the Geezer , to party , B , you .

It is usual .

Make sure that your ID matches the name on the ticket mate, otherwise they will refuse entry.

They will also bleat on about possibly pressing charges but that's just bullshit mate. It's done at random so don't worry, you'll be alreet.

Yeah I nearly got caught out on the Retina Scan just after i'd bought a 'spare'...

Hello everyone!! I made in all fine without an ID search or retina test in sight!!
Was generally ace, sat in the Lower Bullens right on the corner flag and next to the Gladys. Only downer was me and the mrs were sat next to THE most annoying Welsh family ever...and they smelled! Really bad!
Few things that I noticed on my trip:
- was very impressed with Everton One and Two. Spent loads!
- those wooden seats gave my mrs a headache when they banged down (funny for me though)
- a Goodison Steak Pie is just a steak pie and a Scouse Pie is just a meat and potato one.
- those pillars are annoying aren't they?!
- taxis are insanely cheap in Liverpool compared to down here. Our hotel was near the airport and a taxi cost £15 to the ground. Would have been £50 down here.
- Liverpool has a hell of a lot if pubs.
- anyone ever eaten at Damons? It's alright in there.
- there seemed to be loads of wasteland and derelict places in the way into town from the airport....have these places been thought of for new ground (excuse my ignorance if these places are crazy expensive)
- LCAB, only just got your PM. Have to meet for a pint next time I'm up.
- thought we played ok but we don't half struggle to break down a defensive team like that.
- Stoke are awful
- is it me or was the ref doing everything he could to get them to score?!
- journey up 3 and a half hours. Journey down 5 and a half. Insane.

All in all an awesome weekend. Can't wait to do it again.

P.S. The mk dons stayed in my hotel too! Weird moment had me walking into Dietmar Hamman on the way out!

Some crackers in there, in fact possibly the most rounded post for months. Glad you enjoyed it, when you back?

Soon as. It's so easy, traffic permitting, to drive up to Liverpool think I'll be doing it more. It's basically 3 motorways and you're there. Traffic was just crazy on way home.

Avoid the lower bullens next time, it gets no better. You want upper bullens and any row A-G if poss. UB4 is the half way line area. Top Balconys spot on too but a hell of a way up - not good if you get vertigo!!

I thought the ref was treating us like a big 4 team dissallowing perfectly good goals for no reason only that we were at home.
