Everton target M'vila signs for Rubun Kazan

Unbelievable that people have even considered this might happen. Completely bizarre. Why would he ever come to Everton? And if for some reason he would, who would pay his wages, or his 20 million transfer fee?

We have maybe, a maximum of four or five million remaining from the Rodwell sale, though based on our best ITKs probably a little less than that, and some people are naive enough to even consider that we would be after a signing like this? I'll happily eat my words, and a large portion of my own ****, if this ever even comes close to fruition without any big-money sales (though it would remain unbelievably unlikely).

Although i agree with the majority of your post, however, most transfer are done in installments, if a player is sold for £20 million it's normally over a period of time. (Unless your Man City, Chelsea, PSG) It's players wage demands and signing on fees that rule clubs like us out.

Like most find it hard to see this one happening but if we did miraculously have 10-15M to spend would this fella be the best way of spending it?

No doubting he's an outstanding player but what would he bring to our team? Think if Moyes did have this sort of money he would be more likely to stretch it over 2-3 players.

You're right, but because of the fact most transfers are done in installments (barring the 12m for Rodwell), and because of the way our money borrowing and loans are structured, it essentially doesn't matter. Since we have already calculated our financial standings for a number of years in advance, the fact that the payment would be over however many years doesn't really make much difference, since we are well aware that we won't have that sort of money available then either (again barring major player sales). That was horribly written, sorry.

I kind of understand where your coming from, but if that's the case, how was the Fellaini deal financed? i'm guessing, that we are still paying for him in theory.

3mil a year over 5 years.....

As for this signing....we still actually need the money even if the deal is spread out.....and we dont have it.

Just a quickie from me, the european expert on talkSPORTS's Key's and Gray show said this lad will deffo leave, his club need the money and he has been left out of the last match-day squad, he also said he will go on to be one of if not the best holding midfielder in the world, but he also said that his club have dropped their asking price to 17 MILLION he also said the lad would come with a bit of off the field baggage, and finally he was convinced it would be one of the 2 north london clubs

Yeah, some rumours have Newcastle and Everton also watching, Moyes does this before tho with the fellaini signing, Moyes will take a gamble if the player is good, depends on how many clubs want him, Spurs can offer more wages where we were lucky with Fellaini, no one would take the risk, where this kid seem to be linked to a few more clubs and SPurs making a bid

They are clueless. His club have money.

Even if we could afford this deal (which we can't) Moyes would not blow 15million+ on one player when he could get 2/3 quality players for that amount in to improve the squad. Ridiculous rumour!

o

He done it with Fellaini, and he could have bought 2 players but sometimes its works, Fellaini is worth every penny, not saying we should go in for him, just saying Moyes should be allowed to play the market with 15 million as we get be bigger rewards as you see with fellaini, wont be 15 million upfront anyway.

But i recken we wont see anymore as we have signed Pienaar, Naysmith and Merialles.

Rennes have said they have no had any bids yet

Exactly the point I've been trying to make.
