mate, this is not CM13.

This is reality..... We have no money, no one wants Heitinga because he's ****e.

have you not been watching the past 10 yrs..

Heitinga was our player of the season last year and tipped with a fair few teams lining up to try and sign him. Just because he has had a bad half season as he has been shocking doesn't mean he's awful and no one wants him.

To be honest I think we should keep him, I think his confidence was ruined from the start of the season due to being voted our player of the season last year and then Moyes not playing him in any of our opening games this year. I still think he is a good player, although yes his performances have been below par from what we have seen of him.

Not that the deal being reported in the BBC article is similar to how Everton deal with past transfers, I guess Kenwright is desperate to provide some money to Moyes to show that he can back-up his manager. In return, Moyes signs a new deal and Kenwright stays as Chairman happily for the next 3 years.

Somebody merely offering £3.3m upfront proves they are cash strapped. Tottenham would just pay the fee upfront and so would Fulham.

For that reason I think the part payment club is more than likely us.

I see that Tottenham have relesed their accounts today and they have been disappointing for them as well.
Levy is a notoriously difficult negotiator, just because Spurs could afford the fee doesn't mean that they would chose
to do so.
I think that Spurs have a very big expensive squad.I think they may need to move on a player or two before they spend more money.
Really apart from City and Chelsea any club spending large sums of money recklessly face a very uncertain future.

I hope so mate but I can see spurs sniffing around him and didnt they only offer crap money for holtby this window to take him now rather than months down the line with schalke rejecting it? maybe they are skint at the moment.

That would be good if they didnt have a transfer embargo set on em so they cant buy players atm!.
They only have to get authorisation domestically to make the signing apparently. I'm sure the Russian FA is as completely incorruptable as all the institutions in that fine nation.

Rubin Kazan remain favourites to snare Yann M'Vila, but Rennes have confirmed a new offer from England has arrived.

General manager Pierre Dreossi admits the club want his situation resolved this weekend, and that an agreement with the Russian club was most likely.

Queens Park Rangers have been in talks, but now Dreossi says a new bid from England has come, and he would only confirm that it was not from Newcastle.

Arsenal, Tottenham, Fulham and Reading have also been linked with moves for the 22-year-old midfielder in recent weeks.

"It is complicated, but we are still in negotiations," said Dreossi.

"It is not agreed yet, there are delays in payment, everything. I hope we will find a solution.

"Also a new offer came in England and that could be interesting but Rubin Kazan is the priority, and we are negotiating.

"I expect the player to tell me he has reached an agreement with the club so we can finish the negotiations."

Dreossi feels QPR are now out of the running, adding: "QPR? I met with them for a long time [on Monday] but I think they will withdraw and I have not heard from them since.

He would not reveal the new bidder from England, saying "The new English club? This is not Newcastle - but no matter, M'Vila will leave and it will be finished before Saturday's game."
