What exactly is he supposed to have done anyway? He can't be that much of a numbskull if he is jibbing off QPR because they're a crap footy team. Surely that's a sign that he wants to win, or at least compete at a higher level. He could quite easily choose the bright lights of London over Everton, and yet he's supposedly turned them down?

I don't know much of the backing story of this, but surely it can't be that bad as to make him not worth the £6m we're apparently offering? He's 22 and I've seen some ****e players go for £10m so in the worst case he'll have a few issues then be sold for £10m.

Does not mean we cannot get any. Heitinga would go for 3 million at least. Hell there was even like a rumour of 1 million or a bit more for Gueye ffs with the possibility of a couple of million left over from the summer, I don't see why people see 3 million as such an impossible target for us to raise, it is Everton I know but for a quality player like this (apparently) who we could possibly sell for more if all went wrong, don't see us letting this one go so easily. Got a sneaky personal feeling this is us as well.
