Depends how you look at it. People always say "Leicester never get it wrong" or "another good RS purchase" but gloss over the sheer dross people have spent.

Spurs with the Bale money, tosh. Andy Carroll to RS for £35m? Tosh. Fred for nearly £60m? Garbage.

All clubs spend horrid amounts, all clubs struggle to sell aged poor players on huge contracts.

Everybody makes mistakes but we’ve done it as almost a default setting. Andy Carroll and bale at Spurs were about 10 years ago since which we’ve bought probably 20 odd duds which is incredible. I’m not saying nobody has ever done as badly as we have but it’s not the case that everybody does it we’ve definitely been one of the worst in the market the last 5 years or so.
