That covers a lot of it but it misses out on a lot of the opportunity costs that we've had because we played him all the time. Vlasic, Lookman, Kean, Dowell, to an extent Iwobi. Maybe none of these end up good for us anyway but I'd sure as hell have liked to try. Plus all the attacking mids we might have signed if we didn't shovel money down the drain for him.

Lookman and Dowell weren’t good enough though sadly and I’m not sure Kean missed opportunities because of Sigurdsson.
