Sure I heard Carlo today saying he was happy with midfield.

We clearly need to replace Delph with somebody who plays, but other than that I don't see wholesale changes.

That right side should be our focus.

And replacing Bernard and Iwobi with footballers.

Think he mentioned it depends on Gbamin's fitness which makes sense, still though I would be shipping Delph off at any given chance and get another midfielder in. RB and RW is where we need to 100% get positions in

And Gmblammos fitness is a factor for anything else.

Does anyone know much on Franck Kessie? I seen his name mentioned today so looked on wiki he is a 24 yo CM with 9 goals in 24 for AC Milan which is what I would want a 3rd midfielder to achieve. Do you think he would suit our team and would his value match Moise Kean and we could swap? Goals in Italy are as difficult as Premier League so its good going in my opinion.

Ask @Zatara .....he used to absolutely rate him , may still do for all I know.

Not seen enough of him to say if he's that good.

I think when they signed him he had world class potential...hes not lived up to it so far.

If were looking for Douucoure and one more box to box then Kessie would be a good all rounder.

If 4-3-3 is going to be our main formation if Doucoure and Allan are first choice the 3rd midfielder needs to contribute goals which he appears to do.

I would guess that the 3 of them and Davies would all be rotating...

Which would still leave 2 squad positions in the centre to fill the Gomes spot.

2 Doucoure

4 Davies
5 Sigurdsson
6 Gbamin
7 Gomes

Obviously if Gbamin is permanently broken we need someone to replace him. Sigurdsson would be a sub and an occasional starter when the formation was more suited to 4-2-3-1. Davies would cover Allan and Doucoure. Gomes would be used in Europe where his slowness isn't such a hindrance. It would also be nice of Onyango could get a taste of first team action possibly in the league cup. I imagine the 12 sub rule will still be in place in Europe so he may get bench time there.

But you tell the player he has no future. Hopefully he realises this and wants to move in and play. He will still get a nice contract somewhere else. Abs we will have to take a hit on the 22mil, though on the books his value is about 13mil this summer.

Doucoure, Allan, Davies take 3 spots of 7 in the squad.

Then we have Onyango as the 7th option really as he develops.

The others id be looking to sell if possible.

I don't think he'll be happy with his whole squad till we're actually winning honours. All just lip service.

I would like Delph gone. I class James as a forward. I also class Bernard and Iwobi as forwards and I expect at least one of them gone. Besic out of contract and Walcott and Bolasie both forwards also out of contract.

I think midfielder is needed the inability to keep the ball surely has to be addressed by purchasing a CM who actually likes having it and doesn’t treat it like a hot potato
