Not sure most clubs have facilities they rely on around the world. Chelsea signed Fofana and his medical was in New York.

There's a small chance of that, but I'd be amazed if there's any chance of us signing a player for €40m if he's in training with his current club as we speak.

So many reasons, incompetence, leaving it too late, financial rules, not many clubs want to deal too late, not strongly linked with anyone, but perhaps most importantly: we have been doing this time and again year after year.

Considering we had a bid rejected yesterday for Joao Pedro, we’re hardly ‘not strongly linked’ with anyone
It’s just a case on if those links actually reap any rewards. To suggest there’s no concrete links is just…wrong???
