Not the player, say, Gakpo is. Hasn't set La Liga (or the CL) on fire, but also hasn't had the minutes. It's a lot to pay later for an attacker now with his stats, but it does get one now.

DCL will be down to two years next summer, and could be the one exit-bound if he has a season justifying it. The striker shortage isn't letting up anytime soon.
