Gave us 1 of our "best" Anfield memories.

I still think that's the best strike I've seen, especially given the circumstances of the goal.

For Pickford, Sam Johnstone

But don't want to lose Pickford

I'd like to think we've at least spoken to Johnstone about coming this summer. Given our financial position getting him in for free and cashing in on JP to strengthen the defence would be very sound business. Johnstone isn't as good a keeper than JP but ideally with a strengthened defence he wouldn't need to be.
Bazunu has just won Portsmouth player of the year and only turned 20 a couple of months ago. Played 44 games for them and on loan from City.

Could be someone we could sign who is perhaps good enougb now but with a very high ceiling.

That Leeds keeper Meslier has only just turned 22. He doesnt look too bad either.

If Lampard wants to play out from the back im not sure players like Johnstone or even Pope would cut it.

Think he was one of the first players I actually properly despised whilst he played for us, little Martinez grass he was.

Alcaraz was worse

No doubt, but I didn't see him play live, only on tv, so I can't judge him the same way.

Cleverley was proper Osman.

Cant detest any player more than former manager and all round ****** Koeman.
