But that's why people use stats isn't it? Because it's a much better metric than "just don't see it".

Stats are a great tool to judge anything but the eye test will always be an equally valuable tool to go alongside it. It’s easy to be mislead by stats (ditto with the eye test)
I’d be very interested to see the metrics used - the average position one particularly as that would clear it up
