To the untrained eye Siggurdsson was pony however I agree with your general point - for all his negatives he did provide:

1. Goals

2. Leadership on the pitch & directing the midfield with on the field instructions / pointing.

3. Bagged a good few assists from set pieces.

All you've highlighted was me stating Siggurdsson wasn't great which he wasn't.

But he had his positives that would have steadied us into midtable.
