There was someone on here the other day saying recruitment has improved in the last 2 transfer windows.

Still laughing at that tbh.

It's improved in the sense of it being a bit more frugal in terms of wages and transfer fees paid, but that's about it.

If its true his contract has nearly expired I would happily move Holgate on and get him in.

Yes I like him, but he’s what 27/28 now and would cost 30/35mil. We should be finding younger and cheaper versions elsewhere

Yes he’s on a free, the thing is Frank will be building a team that wants to push up the field, play on the front foot and keep the ball.

He’s 30 early into next season,
Could he change his game and fit into a different style after playing so long in a defensive set up.
