He started 15 out of 16 games since he signed for them in January so yes he did get past him.

….i think they signed him on loan with an option to buy in January and took up the option this month.

We had this lad called Branthwaite earmarked for first team football on the left side of defence who was actually our player already and therefore cost us nothing.

Well if we're talking to a tall, young, left footed centre back I'd hazard a guess on where the money is going to come from.

You never know, we could be doing that forward looking thing where we bed a player in for a period so then they’re ready to step up.

We’re probably selling Branthwaite though in reality if we get this bloke.

Ah of course, why bother planning for future events and players leaving when you can just react after the fact. A strategy that’s served us flawlessly over the years. How stupid of me.
