1. The club is up for sale, no interested parties
2. Stadium situation is still a few years away
3. Money is tight after the Lukaku deal
4. Martinez taking his time on transfers
5. As usual we don't have a big pot of money to spend
6. Something about the TV money and being outspent even by the promoted sides.
7. Something on Stones.

That should about cover it.

I bet most of it is about Stones and how he needs to move on for the good of "his career"

They're actually saying that Stones needs to be left alone now that the season started.

Collymore can be a bit of a loon sometimes. But on this point I agree with him. He's saying that the big spenders are causing uncompetitive balance with the cherry picking they can do on other squads.

He's been a blert in his time, but I'm liking his stance on the transfer window here. That said, it's unworkable as different leagues start on different dates therefore the window has to stay open for them.
