Everton have completed the signing of Sylvain Distin from Portsmouth for an undisclosed fee.
The 31-year-old Frenchman penned a three-year-deal on Friday after passing a medical at Finch Farm.
The player did not train with his new team-mates but was shown around the training ground and introduced to players and staff.

David Moyes moved for the former Paris St Germain, Newcastle United and Manchester City player after Joleon Lescott was sold to Manchester City earlier this week.
Distin could now make his Everton debut against Wigan Athletic at Goodison Park on Sunday.
"He'll give me a centre half," said Moyes. "I needed one before Joleon [Lescott] left and he'll give me a direct replacement for him. He's a left-footed centre back, which I wanted.
"He's a bit older but more experienced and I look back at how well Davey Weir and Alan Stubbs did for us in their 30s, and I hope Sylvain can do the same.
"We need someone to come in and keep us steady because we want to be competing be at the top end of the Premier League."
Distin follows striker Jo and midfielder Diniyar Bilyaletdinov into Goodison Park this summer.
An FA Cup winner with Pompey in 2008, Distin was the subject of a reported move to Aston Villa before agreeing terms with the Blues. He can play left back as well as his preferred central-defensive position.

Great buy, well happy now....

Absolute masterstroke by David Moyes, this guy has class, experience and furthermore is an improvement on Lescott.
