I am more excited than i thought i was going to be. One minute he is saying he is disgusted with Everton for not being informed about the board restructure and is expecting a short meeting with Farhad and then his wish is granted and he is out of the door first thing in the morning and with an excellent statement from the new CEO. What people in the media moaning are forgetting (or ignoring) is that we only wanted him on a 6 month deal, so we had no intention of him being here next season.

Only Sam’s greed at wanting a guaranteed extra years pay, plus our mid-season desperation, meant he had us over a barrel so got an 18 month deal.

He's done a decent job that he was brought in to do but he's got paid £10m for it for 6 months work.
