Hi all, I'm an occasional poster but just reading today's Times and I'm concerned we have not replied to their two core questions - have we paid anyone off or got players to sign non disclosure agreements for potential sexual assault cases. As someone who's worked in PR for 20 years, you would have an answer ready for this. Admittedly we are one of 7 clubs inc. MU but the scum, Spurs, City, WH have all strongly said no. We've not replied. Just wondered your thoughts - as fans we should know.
They should have just said no and shown them the receipts for the new lawn mowers

Hi @Harry73
There's really no shame in only posting occasionally you know :coffee:

Hi, pretty much a first time postee so apologies if I upset people -- Aug 2011

Not on here very often,
but -- Jan 2012

I'm not an ITK like David Moyes and only occasional poster but yesterday had a chance meeting with someone from the club, got talking and told Baines is definitely going.-- Jun 2013

A very occasional poster but felt I needed to share -- Sept 2014

Hi, I'm a very occasional poster
but my other half is a Palace fan -- Aug 2016

Hi all, I'm an occasional poster
but just reading today's Times Today

Good work Kev.....can you use the same tactical approach in finding out who our transfer targets are?

I personally think it's bad of the club not to respond. It hate to think anyone at the club was involved in anything to do with this sick ordeal but it seems like it was everywhere.

It's good that we look to be in the clear, just hope our communication department isn't run by Jim Trott:

Everton did respond.

They said we are in the clear on both counts.

I really can't get my head around the idea that Everton Football Club are answerable to a newspaper. The club is answerable to the appropriate authorities and to anyone effected. I would much prefer the club treats this with the gravity it deserves and not rush to placate a newspaper.

Agreed, hence why I didn't mind the initial non-response.
