Slightly off the topic here AB but do you know much about Conor McAleny? I've only seen him play once or twice so can't make a judgement. He has signed a new contract I believe. How good is he?

Yes, I got a bit lost in my chocolate biscuit nostalgia.. Good luck lads. I think even Alan shearer was released at one point so any thing is still possible.

I don't know much more than you really but yes i've seen him a few times, he's a forward with very good pace and can score some delightful goals too. By no means the finnished article but with the right coaching and attitude could come through and possibly be a regular squad player in the near future as i believe he has the potential
