Haha people believe this guff. There is no way on this planet we're signing a 21 year old left back on 85k a week rising to 145k a week.

What happened to trimming the wage bill ffs. Always makes me laugh that after the story breaks then all these people who didn't have a clue about it before hand suddenly have intermit details of the deal. Jokes trying to get people to listen to their sad little podcast.
boo hoo we’re actually signing a quality player

Not really bothered what he’s being paid if he performs well for us. By all accounts this would be a massive coup. Everton actually beating Spurs to a signing we need rather than just chucking money after players from clubs that no top teams are interested in.

Ok - these are the ten most followed teams on twitter. In order:

Man Utd
Arsenal
Chelsea
Liverpool
Man City
Spurs
Everton
West Ham
Newcastle
Villa

Now are you telling me that is not a relatively accurate barometer of popularity/support? Because that list certainly looks fairly accurate to me.
ok

some people aren't getting the tweet, it says 145k by the end of the contract

85k now if he signed, do you think if we signed for say united they would put him on say 50k? he'd be straight on the big money that's how clubs attract the good players

don't even think we will sign him, but for 25 mill and 85k id be made up, been crying out for a left back for years and weve been linked with this one who looks absolutely quality ( poor league yes ) and people moan

VVD is one of the best CB in the league and he come from the same team

I would hope he would. Excellent back up to have. He did turn down Man U. Maybe Everton is a good fit for him and he'd be happy to see out his career here.
He doesn't have an England slot to chase either.

..i’m a huge Baines fan, but getting his wage off the book would virtually off-set Tierney’s initial salary. That appears good business. It’s a new regime, a new start.

If a deal was close he wouldn't be playing tonight.

Been announced to start for Celtic in a friendly tonight, a deal is nowhere near close.

Do you realise the US election was won because an account had artificially inflated follower accounts? - There is zero metric available to ascertain the legitimacy of any real/fake accounts. I helped work on one of the biggest global platforms which track(ed) fake/bot accounts and can categorically and statistically say its impossible to confirm.

I don't think that's why the US election was won though in fairness, Bry?

Btw, I don't agree that twitter is a brilliant barometer for if a club is big or not, but it makes sense that the bigger the club, the more the followers.

Tierney would be boss.
