Some say he is better at left back than Robertson at Liverpool, who I think is a cracking player. Would be a quality player for years and years in a tough-to-fill position

im all for trimming the squad, and getting away from wasting money like we have done

but I just cant accept pulling the plug on a top young player for the sake of a few million for a position we have needed for the past 4 seasons

We don't know for certain if we are even in for him, never mind that we can't agree a fee or have walked away from chasing the player.
Robinson is training with the first team in Austria and I expect that he is a player that Brands/Silva will know less about than many of the others. Maybe they want to see this lad play and train for a week or two to see if they do need to bring somebody in.

Tierney obviously loves it at Celtic but I wonder what his agent loves ?... I would guess that a pay rise that would probably triple what he is currently earning and a big signing on fee would be my guess.
