Everton mean business

The opening line was the thread title.

Talking about how the signing of Lukaku's new contract and the ground move shows we are "going places".

Durham is now asking Kopites if they are worried and should they be "looking over their shoulder" lol

I am enjoying a Durham piece on Everton for a change ;)
The man's still a nob though.:) Can anyone post a link?. I missed it. Too busy exchanging pots with Dave.

I'd like to see that we mean business before getting too excited. We've been hearing this sort of thing for over a year now.

Moshiri having money doesn't mean much these days unlike when City came into cash, FFP rules won't allow us to do what they did

More interested in what commercial income deals he can do and how quickly he can get this stadium sorted!

Posted in other thread but it's more suited to this thread so....

We're the only club in the league who has a striker that doesn't actually play for us apparently. 'Without Lukaku they'd be nothing' 'league position artificially inflated by Lukaku' 'Lukaku is off to Chelsea so this form is only temporary'. Love how certain elements of the media can't handle the fact that one of the leagues top strikers doesn't play for a super six side and no matter how hard they've tried to sell him it's been contract after contract. 'They won't get him on loan' got him on loan, 'they're cheating, none of those loan players will stay' all 3 loan players signed permanently, 'they're a stepping stone, he'll be gone after a season' 4 seasons later and a new contract 99.9% done.

Exactly. It's pathetic.

Well, Dom.....this perception is changing and it is changing at a very fast rate :)
