Everton once replaced Wayne Rooney with Marcus Bent ,and it worked magically for one season ,replacing Cenk Tosun with Josh King(if he comes ) is an absolute no brainer,much better player

Well sure, but if he goes to Preston and is a high level championship player we need to view him on his return as a first team player for real.

No we don't. Being a good player in the Championship won't mean he can automatically walk into our side which is fighting for a European spot. Thats a big jump in quality.

Thing is, the entire argument people have had against the argument that we should be targetting a sensible loan option is that the focus has to be on getting people out, getting rid of deadwood.

Well, that's fallen down, because we're bidding for 29-year-old Josh King in the final hours of the window, going up against the mighty Fulham, and we'll be paying him big wages if he comes.

No, there isn't a plan.

The hope is that the club are realistic of our need and what King can offer; anything more than £50k a week, we should just walk away now.
