So you have gone from saying we will have no incomings to telling us not to go for players because you think they are what exactly?

I only want players that will immediately improve Everton FC. Hot prospects can wait until the summer when prices are more reasonable and the club is able to negotiate the transfer market better.

Gotta agree with @davek on this one. I think now relegation is all but staved off, they may have taken the foot off the transfer accelerator!

Save the money for the summers rebuild job!

If we cant get our first or second target now and only the 4th or 5th is available on the list then we wait until the summer.

Moyes has and will see that we dont have relegation fears no more, this buys the club a lot time and gives us a better platform to do our business.

I think Broja was also a bit out of nowhere, he was heavily linked with Ipswich, but just 1-2 or days before the actually came to us, Mangala the same.

I guess the decision will be do you want Doucoure and Gueye as squad players next season or the likes of Brownhll and Long staff.

If it was me I'd renew Gueye , let Doucoure go and pay decent money bring in a dynamic box to box midfielder to compliment Tim.and Garner.

Would 4 central.midfieldeex be enough ?

Would love it to happen but I think that would be very hard to get that one over the line.

I think it's unrealistic mate.

I think we will look abroad for a Boniface or Guirassy type of player.

I have no issue with Gueye for another year and I don't want him but id take Longstaff on a free as a squad player but Brownhill is playing at his level, he is a championship player imo. It would be Harrison mk2 again.
