Summer we're down to Iroegbunam, Armstrong and Garner (who will only have a year left).
I dont think its so much a priority signing, more so we can move Beto on without a loss on the books and bring Cristante in as another body in midfield who can add value.
Hes a different player. Allan of course (like Gana) relied on his mobility -- Cristante relies on his positioning and could go on well into his 30s.
I think he'd elevate the game of the other midfielders.

He could literally change that post to 28 years and be absolutely correct
Only Ogbonna, Jorginho ,Emerson, Pelle, Balotelli and maybe Udogie have been serviceable at the most since 2009

For me only Zola and Vialli were outstanding successes.
However it's an interesting list and the rest clearly weren't flops in this country ( unlike the keeper and RS midfielder
