Where did the Chilwell free transfer rumour originate? They paid £50 million for him three years ago, seems unlikely they’d let him go for nothing with 2 years on his contract?

I honestly think Dithering Davey is causing the delay. Him and Thelwell need to agree on who they're going after. Moyes wants to assess the squad. The Broja deal going belly up is likely limiting our opinions.

Moyes has also said that he wants UK based players apparently. So, not many of those are going to be available that are any good. Probably quite hamstrung tbh.

Yeah I do think if KT was left to his own devices Nuamah would've been in the door by now.

Agree, but we need a left back more than a right back and no matter what anyone says, a left back needs to be left footed to provide proper width. Having a right footed left back is v limiting. I'd take him, absolutely, but I'd say he's a summer target as a right back

….i agree that any hold up is likely down to Moyes but i very much doubt Thelwell has to agree to anything except how many sugars Moyes takes in his tea.

Said to you the other day mate I think it’s more that we can stretch what we have further later in the window. Not that I agree with it but that’s the logic. We’re really struggling with PSR as is.
