Im a big fan of Allans, have been for years.

31 now and cant play effectively in a 2.

Linked to Lazio who are managed by Sarri who happens to be Allans biggest fan.

Id expect it to be a loan with an obligation...

...however:
Luiz Felipe is Lazio's Brazilian centre back who is quality and 24 years old.

Hes out of contract in the summer. A swap between both would be an exceptional deal for us.



Regarding Holgate, Badiashile and Tchouameni are two young big athletic young monsters at Monaco. Left sided centre back and a defensive midfielder.

Sell Digne and give them Holgate + cash for one or two of them.

Honestly if we got both id be confident we'd have two major stars in a couple of seasons.

If we are around breakeven now for 2021/22 season then Digne leaving + Holgate and Allan on loan (perhaps) then we would be well up for the season*

If obligations then kick in for Allan and Holgate during summer then we could start off with £20mil in the positive before offloading the out of contract bunch and making sales.

Hypothetically just being up this season + again next season (profit and sustainability wise) and were 2 out of 3 seasons in profit which may actually allow us to drop £100mil in season 3.


*we could still sign a defensive midfielder now to replace Allan and make signings in summer and still we well up due to how its all calculated.

Then now + summer sell Mina and Keane while bringing in Badiashile and a defensive midfielder (Kamara/Guimaraes/Tchouameni etc) then we'd be laughing.

I keep repeating myself but we have 9 players to move on aside from those out of contract in summer...ideally 5 to go this window.

Have to say that if it was the case that we signed Mykolenko, Patterson and Badiashile (or similar profile) then this could be our best January window ever.

Massive turning point but lets see how it unfolds.

But we're brutal mate, brutal manager, a raft of brutal players on a fortune, brutal board/owner, staring into a relegation dogfight, no money, record losses - whatever about reducing the age of the squad - you dont sell one of your most effective players in what is a manure show of a season half way through it (well we are Digne i know) - its stupid if we got 30 million for him - its the height of idiocy doing it for a loan, there's clever and trying to be too clever - that its actually stupid.

I remember people telling me what a great deal we got for Gueye, until we dropped the guts of 200 mill trying to replace him. via a whole season of a wet Weetabix midfield.

In fact its so stupid, it cant happen.

I wholly disagree with that mate hes an excellent player, hes the type of player you dont know how much you are going to miss him until hes not there.

People underestimate players like Allan, they shouldn't.
