Has he kicked a ball since that game against us? Haven’t heard a thing from him.

Burton Albion on loan...4 goals.

Not enough.

McKennie has played on right in a 442 quite a bit. Not played much in centre mid. But juve have Locatelli, Arthur, Rabiot, Bentancur all internationals. So if Doucoure walks into the juve side. Which 3 of That 4. Are sitting on the bench for 12th placed Everton.

If it were closer to 22-25 I think I would be good with that. He can't stay healthy.

Mina: Id take £17.1mil in Jan. We cant risk any major injury with him going into the last 18months. Sell and reinvest even though hes quality...sell Keane as well and sign one top player at centre back.

@Stephenlloyd Rabiot,Arthur and Bentacur are all different types of player...as is Locatelli.

Arthur (who i like) has played less than Ramsay and the other 2 have been poor.

Locatelli as the baller is streets ahead and belongs in the midfield. Theres an argument that Juventus should sell everyone else.

Martial want to leave United on loan this January, according to the Guardian.

Would be vastly better than Rondon and considerably upgrade our forward line IMHO
Seems not interested half the time. And if he can’t get up playing for Utd, what’s he going to do playing for us

it’s no coincidence he wants out as soon as United bring in a manager who demands high work rate as a bare minimum from his players.

Couldn’t disagree more - when they’ve shown faith in him for a run of games they’ve been rewarded (their best season coming when they had him, Rashford and Greenwood as a front 3) but they have also repeatedly signed players in his position instead (Rom, Ibra, Cavani, CR7) which is what has probably caused all the ennui.

As a loan signing I think he could be fantastic and would fit in with how we look best, with three out of him / DCL / Richy / Gray up front.

Being a Wales fan then I’d love Ramsey here for the nostalgia element…I do think it’d be a bad move though. 31, bad injury record and no sell on value.

When he does play he really is a top player . I think that if he hadn’t had as many injuries he’d have been talked about as one of the best to come out of the uk in a while - I don’t think there’s many better goalscoring midfielders when he’s fit and on fire.

By all accounts he argues that he knows how to manage his own body and that juventus won’t let him him follow his individual training programme - I think it’s a huge risk though and would swerve.

If we sell Digne for e.g £23mil and signed the Spanish u21 player Sergio Gomez (linked) for say, £10mil then that looks to be good business based on this youtube video and his stats:

Then we have him and Nkounkou at left back...young, dynamic and looks to be exciting.

At centre back, partners for Godfrey:

Bremer (Torino) £20-25mil

Badiashile (Monaco) £40-50mil

Ginter (Gladbach) Free

Right back...the boy Mazraoui (Ajax) Free

Aside from these suggestions, we could have an interesting next couple of windows:

Kenny out of contract 2022
Coleman finished
Nkounkou on loan
Digne who knows
Mina out of contract 2023
Keane dreadful
Branthwaite rumoured extension
Holgate seems out of favour

Hopefully we see a big clearout and just keep Nkounkou, Branthwaite and Godfrey and rebuild with young players to grow over the next 2-3 seasons before we move to the stadium.
