Given the total crap recruitment barring a couple over the last five years I cannot see the issue, its certainly Fat Man is taking full accountability if it goes tits up!

One played for relagation fodder Watford for 5yrs and was part of the team that went down. Now plays for mid table fodder Everton.
While the other played 10yrs for a team regularly in the champions league and in finals. Winning trophies and scoring goals in finals.
Shines for his country at a major tournament as they reach the semi’s and now playing for Italy’s biggest club.
Whether you think Ramsey would be a good signing or not. He’s a class above Doucoure. Or any other midfielder at the club.

Doucoure is just another players massively overrated by our fans. Good player but there’s reason he ended up at mid table Everton at his peak for 20mil
I know how the Rondon transfer panned out but, given RB's dealings in the transfer market in the short space of time he's been here, I don't think it's a bad thing that he has control of who comes in. Looks like the VDB chase is off now MB has gone for example.
