Will get get us goals? Not a great record all his time at Utd. Ok had a flash in the pan at West Ham, was in 9 in 11. Then I think he didn’t score in the last 7/8 games.

Let's wait and see what happens at Newcastle. They're just as likely to become the new Everton as the new Man City. People were buzzing when we were spending money like a drunk stag in Magaluf a few years ago and that has ended up like this.

What on earth is going on? We are being linked with Lingard, Deli Ali, and Ndombele but we desperately need a defensive midfielder. Allan is good but lacks pace and stamina so that he is running on empty after 70 minutes, Tom Davies looks as though he could be out for the season, Doucoure is a box to box midfielder but is also now injured and Gomes simply cannot tackle. This surely is the top priority in terms of any transfer at the moment, not a creative player. We are conceding goals in every game and if we are to stay up we need to become more defensively solid. This really is extremely worrying in terms of relegation if we don't address this problem.

Dobbin looks much better than him for me, so he should be higher up in the pecking order. I know he is more of a wide forward, but Richarlison is our second best 9 and opportunities could come in either position.
